Intermediate English By the BOOK

From Instructions:

It isn't always possible to read everything your child reads, and you want your child to learn to write as well. The focus for this age is the sentence. You can use a basic grammar book, if you like, but you can also teach the various kinds of sentences in a natural way, as they relate to reading. See the helps below, as well as the various report ideas which require written sentences about the books. Note that some of these relate to books about history and science topics, because there is no reason to make unnatural lines between subjects. Your child should also be doing some independent copy work several days a week.

Elementary Science By the BOOK

From Instructions:

Expose your child to all facets of the physical world God made. There is no end to the books about sharks and birds, oceans and volcanoes, how things move and how they are made. Let your child's interest guide you, but introduce some new areas, too. He may be surprised to know that computers haven't always been around or that there are animals he can't see with his eyes alone.
